This is a Great Solution! It is a shame that some have ruined it for all. It seems to be a very short notice (2 days) on making the decision to close the street and the public should have some say to what is done.
Yeah, but what would stop the City from simply locking these gates in November and not unlocking them until April? Who would decide when the street is unsafe for driving?
